Aaron's Story




In July we discussed how multiple layers of teamwork impact the Medworks’ Administration Team. This month it is our pleasure to highlight the many ways our Service Team works collaboratively with other Medworks teams to achieve high-performance levels.


Aaron Kaye’s experience as a Medworks Certified Trainer and Service Representative provides insight to understanding the daily teamwork that is required.

Aaron states that “without teamwork, my job wouldn’t work.” Teamwork is a foundational component of the Service department. Our representatives must be in the right place with the right equipment at the right time. Supporting surgeons and facilities requires precise logistical communication followed by skillful readiness of the service team.

Aaron stresses the importance of the Administration Team in relation to Service. Several essential tasks are performed by Admin, including scheduling, confirming, and updating cases. As we experienced during the height of COVID, rapid case changes can be challenging, so Admin keeps the field informed of case changes through constant communication. Admin also facilitates the process of picking up and delivering repairs for customers as well as coordinating inventory issues. Furthermore, Admin assists reps in setting up and maintaining their credentials, essential for hospital access.

The dynamic between Sales and Service needs to be fluid. Service reps help gauge customer satisfaction along with providing feedback to Sales. During times of high-case volumes, sales reps assist by being an additional field service resource. “The constant communication and teamwork between the two departments are key to success!”

Aaron praises Medworks’ leadership for their teamwork; “Any time a service rep or a sales rep needs vital information, the Leadership Team is there to help provide those answers.”

As Aaron points out, Medworks reflects the image of solid teamwork! “Coming from a sports background where a team is everything, I would say from the top down, Medworks understands what it is to be a great team.”
