Professional Experience:
Chris brings a diverse professional background spanning both archival work and finance. He began his career at the Library of Virginia, where he served as an Archivist and Digital Collections Associate and spent seven years helping to build the Virginia Enslaved Name database, an impactful contribution to preserving and expanding historical records.

In 2018, Chris transitioned into the insurance industry, where he spent the past eight years as a Senior Finance Associate with James River Insurance Company. Through this work, he combines his passion for climbing with his desire to support others on their journey to recovery.
