— Kaizen
Personality: Kind, respectful, and compassionate
Professional Experience: Tam Graduated from Spokane Community College where he earned his certification in Surgical Technology. With a combined total of 24 years in the medical field, Tam comes to Medworks with a history of 18 years as a surgical technologist and 6 years as a sterile processing tech, bringing his experience of helping and coordinating with OR needs and daily operations. Over the years, his specialties have included neuro/spinal fusions and also ophthalmology procedures. As well, Tam has served as a surgical tech instructor at a medical vocational school program teaching the surgical technology program.
Tam states that being at Medworks gives him the best of both worlds. The combined experience of being in surgical procedures plus learning new equipment and instrumentation presents the opportunity to continue learning new things while helping to provide the best of care. This is consistent with Tam's understanding of GRIT: "to always improve and never stop learning. To be the best version of who you are and to help others be their best version."
