Personality: Michelle is known for her big personality, resilience, compassion, and positive outlook. She brings energy, authenticity, and a genuine desire to help others, making her a supportive teammate and trusted presence in any environment.


Professional Experience: Michelle brings 35 years of healthcare experience, including 22 years in the operating room. As a Certified Surgical Technologist (CST), she has developed extensive clinical expertise while supporting surgical teams across a variety of specialties and settings.

In addition to her hands-on surgical experience, Michelle has dedicated part of her career to education, teaching Surgical Technology in laboratory, classroom, and hospital environments. Her passion for mentoring and developing future healthcare professionals has allowed her to share her knowledge and help students build confidence and technical skills for success in the operating room.


Michelle was drawn to Medworks because the company's values and mission closely align with her own personal philosophy: be excellent, be a blessing to others, and leave things better than you found them. She is excited to be part of an organization committed to making a meaningful difference for both clients and teammates.


Passions: Outside of work, Michelle is passionate about fiber and textile arts and enjoys exploring creativity through various artistic mediums. She also loves live music and values the inspiration, connection, and joy that the arts bring to everyday life.


Michelle is actively involved in her community by tutoring individuals working toward their GED certification and teaching knitting and practical life skills at women's and children's shelters. Through these efforts, she empowers others through education, encouragement, and hands-on support.


To Michelle, grit means perseverance in the face of adversity. It is the belief that if life knocks you down 999 times, you get up 1,000. She believes true character is revealed during life's challenges, and that resilience, integrity, and determination are demonstrated through actions when circumstances put those values to the test.
