Medworks Core Values

During much of 2017, the Medworks’ leadership team spent several months diligently working to articulate its true core values. This was a tedious and time-consuming task. Clarifying these standards was essential not only for lending guidance to our daily operations, but also in giving direction for our future.

Medworks now solidly stands on these four values, GROWTH, READINESS, INTEGRITY, and TEAM.  Using the first letter of each of these words we are reminded of a key principle and important strength: GRIT! 

We asked some of our team members what GRIT means to them and how it affects them individually. To Ryan Buckley, GRIT is “what I see in my colleagues, and what I hope they see in me.   A group of hard working individuals who dedicate everything they have to be better, for themselves and the ones they love. When this group of individuals unite, their potential is limitless.”  

 

“G” – Growth. For Susan Cochran, “Growth means I will work independently to increase my knowledge and awareness and that I will work collectively with everyone at Medworks to realize goals and bring forth abundance.”  

 

 

“R” – Readiness.   Adrianne Shelton believes Readiness means “always staying one step ahead of the game – thinking through various ways a situation can play out, and learning the habits of our clients so we can predict what they may need from us.”

 

 

“I” – Integrity. To Mark Maddux, Integrity means “always following through on your word when you say you will do something. Also, being honest and forthright even when no one knows or the option to do the opposite is available.”  

 

 

“T” – Team.   For Jason Holley, Team means “working together to be a part of something that is greater than yourself.”  

 

People with GRIT are driven to improve, motivated to achieve long-term goals, and committed to a purpose. These are qualities we look for in all our team members and we are pleased to have such a gritty bunch going above and beyond each day at Medworks.
