Personality: Adventurous, independent, realistic, friendly, dependable, and silly.


Professional Experience: Maggie earned her B.A. in Art History and Museum Studies from the University of Mary Washington and began her career in museums and art history in Washington, DC. She later transitioned into higher education first at Georgetown University, working in the Art & Art History Department, and later at Wesley Theological Seminary, where she supported senior leadership as Executive Assistant to the Dean and President before advancing into the role of Director of Human Resources.


After many years in DC, Maggie planned to pursue training as a postpartum doula, but the pandemic redirected her path and reaffirmed her commitment to Human Resources. She relocated to Richmond, VA, and soon after joined Medworks.


In 2024, Maggie earned her Professional in Human Resources (PHR) certification through HRCI, and has completed additional certifications in Employment Law, Mental Health Awareness, and HR Ethics.


Passions: Outside of work, Maggie enjoys gardening, practicing herbalism, reading novels, making beaded jewelry, and spending time with her cats. She is deeply passionate about food justice and mental health advocacy.
