Maggie Ayres

Personality:  Adventurous, independent, realistic, friendly, dependable, silly.

Professional Experience: Maggie received her B.A. in Art History and Museum Studies from the University of Mary Washington. She has also studied HR through the Accelerated HR Management Certificate Program from SkillPath and Graceland University and is currently studying to take the SHRM-CP exam. Prior to coming to Medworks, Maggie gained HR experience working as the Director of Human Resources for Wesley Theological Seminary in Washington, DC.

Passions: Having trained as a post-partum doula, Maggie is passionate about educating young parents concerning the benefits of doula support especially within the LGBTIQA+ community. She is also passionate about food justice. As such, Maggie has donated her time to Good City Farm in DC and is looking forward to getting involved with urban farming and food justice services in Richmond. Additionally, Maggie is a community-trained herbalist.
