Personality: Calm, dependable, approachable, thoughtful, level-headed especially in stressful situations


Professional Experience: Leading up to his Medworks career, Justin spent over 15 years as a Certified Surgical Technologist with an emphasis in sports medicine, urology, labor and delivery, and women's health services. Before entering the medical field, Justin worked as a Certified Flight Instructor, holding a Master of Aeronautical Science, Aviation Safety & Security Management from Middle Tennessee State. As a Lead Transportation Security Officer with TSA, Justin contributed to risk-based security operations while mentoring staff and promoting procedural consistency and safety. Highlighting his professional achievements, Justin earned the Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medal while serving in the US Navy. 


Justin was drawn to Medworks because of its reputation for professionalism, its strong team culture, and the opportunity to work in an environment where skill, integrity, and patient care truly matter.

 

Passions: Outside of work, Justin is passionate about aviation, the outdoors, cooking, spending time with his family, and continuous learning. He loves diving into anything related to safety, leadership development, and systems improvement. Most importantly, He enjoys time with his wife and daughter, whether that’s traveling, exploring new places, or just being together at home.


Justin gives back to the community by supporting veteran-focused causes, donating his time and abilities to Habitat for Humanity, and by mentoring others in aviation, healthcare, and career development. As a disabled veteran, he appreciates the challenges of navigating the red tape of the Veterans Affairs systems and tries to help fellow veterans access their benefits.
